Dual Layer DVD Burner and Media

Just bought the NEC 8X Dual Layer (Model Number ND-2510A) Burner for $67 at newegg.com.
Write Speed: 8X DVD+R, 4X DVD+RW, 8X DVD-R, 4X DVD-RW, 2.4X DVD+R DL, 32X CD-R, 16X CD-RW
Buffer: 2MB

It was $20 cheaper than the 3500A 16X with 4X DL Write.

With it I also got 3 Verbatim 8.5GB DVD+R DL Media ($10 each) for $34.
The package came with 5 Free DVD-Rs as well.
$4 for S&H and it all came out to $105 bucks.

Once I set it up I'll want to check that the writer changes the booktype to DVD-ROM which will make it more compatible with set top DVD players.
